a really blessed birthday this 2015

I was especially blessed on my birthday period this year.

This is the post that I have been thinking about for a very long time but didn't manage to post..

Anw, here it goes!

My birthday fell on a Sunday this year. On Thursday prior to the special day, Aunty Goh already gave me a big angbao. She says she's afraid that I am on leave the next day. 超有心的<3

On Friday, my colleagues passed me a surprise gift and I celebrated my birthday with a friend too. Oh yes, Aunty Goh gave me a second gift that day :)

On Saturday, at our weekly family gathering, mum prepared crab bee hoon for everyone as part of my celebration:) I had a yummy cake blessed by xiao yi too. It was a really pleasant surprise :D

On Sunday, my family (one of God's biggest blessing to me) went to visit a particularly familiar to us market in amk and had our awesome porridge before heading to church. In church, there were so so many sweet people who wished me happy birthday which added on to making my day especially special :)

The gift wrapped in the silver wrapper was a super surprise from shu rong lao shi who taught me when I was a kid. I met her at the lift area together with my sister and she was like: 今天是谁的生日？and then she surprised me with the gift and gold packet. Why did she remember? Because I shared the same birthday as her son. So sweet and thoughtful of her :') the yellow-and-sweet-like-honey letter was given to me by my mentee (mentor). always giving thanks for her! :)

And that's not the end yet. The day was made even more memorable with YM celebrating with me (see first picture above) with my favourite apple strudel right after service! Also, the many many lovely people who wished me happy birthday on various social media platforms and everywhere else. The MYLC group really made me feel so loved in the group chat (picture above) too :')

Not forgetting the first 3 hahaha plus 44 more really sweet and thoughtful people :) and also a very important group of girls in my life who blessed me with the sweetest birthday card and msg. and also all the text/ whatsapp msges and handshakes and greetings... that contributed to making me "diabetic" :')

I am still smiling away as I am typing this here right now even though this post is more than a month late. :)

2014 was a tough tough tough year.

but through my January 2015 birthday,

what I wanna emphasize is simply at the start of 2015,

all of you have showed me how I am so so blessed beyond measure :)

and I would like to thank God for each and everyone of you :D

I AM TRULY BLESSED :')

In my twenty plus years of my life, Ps Fui is only one person I know who shares my birthday.

We discovered that on the first day we met in TPCMC though we met once many many years ago in Indonesia, Buru.

This year, she wasn't around to celebrate our special day together as she already returned to her hometown..

We know she's happily reunited with her family and it's her turn to enjoy celebrating her special day with them! :)

But still....

We really miss you, Ps Fui! <3
